How we work with AI
Beyond7 is an AI enablement company based in Hamburg. We work with AI systems in every project, primarily with Claude by Anthropic. This page discloses which systems we use, what happens to your data, where it is processed, and how we secure that contractually. For clients, partners, and everyone who works with us.
Why this page?
We bring agentic work into companies. It would be odd if we worked any other way ourselves: research, analyses, proposals, code, and documentation at Beyond7 are produced with AI assistance. Anyone working with Beyond7 should know that before the first joint meeting.
That is why everything that is usually scattered across contract annexes lives here in one place: the systems we use, how we handle data, and the contractual safeguards. Our privacy policy and our data processing agreements reference this page. We recommend the same openness to our clients toward their customers.
Which AI systems do we use?
Our primary tool is Claude by Anthropic: Claude Code for agentic work and the Claude apps for chat and research. We use Claude through a commercial Claude for Work plan (Team) governed by Anthropic's Commercial Terms of Service. This matters because commercial plans follow different data rules than personal accounts.
Typical uses in client projects: research and evaluation, drafting, analysis of documents and data, code and automation, project organization. Client data only enters processing within the scope of the respective engagement.

How is Anthropic certified?
Anthropic holds the established security and management certifications: SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (information security), ISO/IEC 42001:2023 (responsible AI management), ISO/IEC 27017 and ISO/IEC 27018 (cloud security and PII protection), and CSA STAR.
Current attestations, audit reports, and the subprocessor list are available in the Anthropic Trust Center.
How do we secure this contractually?
Wherever we process personal data on behalf of our clients, we sign a data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR and list Anthropic in it as a subprocessor, referencing this page as the continuously maintained overview.
For the processing of contact and project data of our business partners, the AI section of our privacy policy applies in addition.

Commercial plans, clear rules
Client work runs exclusively on our Claude for Work plan under Commercial Terms: no training on your content, DPA included.
Data minimization
Processing gets what the engagement requires. For sensitive data, we align with you beforehand on whether and how it belongs in an AI system.
Responsibility stays with us
AI output ships reviewed. We stand behind the quality of our work, regardless of which tool was involved in producing it.
Frequently asked questions
Does Beyond7 work with AI on our data?
Yes. AI-assisted work is our core business and part of every project. Working with Beyond7 means working with a company that produces research, analyses, drafts, and code with Claude by Anthropic. Client data only enters processing within the scope of the respective engagement.
Does Anthropic train its models on our data?
No. Beyond7 uses Claude through a commercial plan (Claude for Work). For these plans, Anthropic's Commercial Terms of Service rule out training on customer content, both inputs and outputs.
Where is the data processed?
In the United States. The Claude Team plan we use currently offers no EU data residency. The transfer is secured through EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR), which are part of Anthropic's Data Processing Addendum. The contracting entity for EEA customers is Anthropic Ireland, Limited, based in Dublin.
Which certifications does Anthropic hold?

What about special requirements such as EU data residency?
For organizations with stricter requirements, there are routes to Claude with EU data residency, for example via AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex AI in EU regions, as well as Claude Enterprise options. Setups like these are part of our consulting. Talk to us.
